Call for Participants in excellent training opportunities now open
Training opportunities in the 2nd running of the ECGF Training Exchange have now been published. The training catalogue consist of on-the-job training and a coast guard functions course focusing on traffic management. All members of the ECGF Training Network and ECGFA NET III project contributors are invited to nominate candidates to trainings that best suit their needs and pique their interest.
Versatile training selection
There are training opportunities for all experts in the field of coast guard functions. On-the-job trainings are available in themes such as diving, maritime rescue coordination, air traffic coordination in SAR incidents, high-speed boat driving in tactical police missions, planning maritime SAR, practical oil recovery and so on.
The CGF course focuses on traffic management and especially on improving efficiency through VHF communications. It's a 3-day course organised in Gijón, Spain by the Spanish Maritime Safety and Rescue Agency (SASEMAR). The course has been developed for the purposes of the ECGF Training Exchange Programme.

How to apply to the Exchange Programme?
Application process is coordinated by an Institutional/National Exchange Coordinator. The application process, requirements for candidates and selection criteria are detailed in the guidebook. More information is also found on the Exchange section of this Portal when logging in.
